MICHIEL HUISMAN – ACTEUR – IJSSELMEER, € 550.000
Na een niet zo heel succesvolle carrière in de muziekindustrie, ging Michiel Huisman aanvankelijk voor wat rolletjes in films en series in Nederland, maar hij was ervan overtuigd dat het grote succes in de Verenigde Staten kon bereikt worden. Daarom trok hij in 2010 de oceaan over en werd beetje bij beetje een internationaal bekende ster. Na zijn acteerprestaties in Treme, Orphan Black en natuurlijk Game of Thrones, kan hij zichzelf best wel succesvol noemen. Vaak verblijft hij daarom in zijn huurappartement in Manhattan, maar hij kocht in 2014 ook samen met zijn partner, actrice Tara Elders een boerderij uit 1876 in IJselmeer, waar ze vaak samen verblijven met hun dochter. Voor het pand van ongeveer 360 vierkante meter betaalde hij destijds iets meer dan een half miljoen euro, maar na tal van verbouwingen is het vast heel wat meer waard.
