The Good Place is a sitcom that revolutionized its genre with its deep philosophical takes on life, the afterlife, and what it is to be human. Through its short run, it captured many hearts. It answered questions about why one should choose to be good. But the description for the series finale by a cable company was probably the laziest interpretation of that.
It certainly brought out a chuckle when the plot summary for the last episode read “Various conversations occur, between various groups of people.” It makes you wonder what they were doing in the other episodes.
