CHRISTOPHER ATKINS – 61 JAHRE
Christopher Atkins ist ein amerikanischer Schauspieler, der in den 1980er Jahren mit dem Film “The Blue Lagoon” ganz groß rauskam. Christopher arbeitete zu jener Zeit als Rettungsschwimmer und Bootslehrer, als er von einem Filmarbeiter entdeckt wurde. Am Ende sprach er für den Film vor und gewann die Rolle, wobei er 4.000 andere Schauspieler schlug.
Der Streifen wurde ein Kassenschlager und machte ihn fast über Nacht zum Teenie-Idol. In den 1980er Jahren spielte er später in vielen Film- und Fernsehprojekten mit, darunter „The Child Bride of Short Creek“, „The Pirate Movie“ und „A Night in Heaven“. Mittlerweile ist Christopher zwar deutlich seltener vor der Kamera zu sehen, verdient mit seiner eigenen Outdoor-Sport Marke aber immer noch Geld.
