After the panhandling video went viral and West was arrested once again, people started coming together to get West back on track. One of the first to offer to help was his former college coach, Phil Martelli, seen above. “Over the past several hours I have talked with many who are willing to help – we are reaching out to our basketball network to get the professional help Delonte needs,” Martelli wrote on Twitter. “This is so very painful.”
Soon enough, Martelli was working with National Basketball Players Association to try and aid West. At the same time, one of the richest men in the world was on the ground in Dallas, helping the former basketball star get back on his feet…
