From mid-2016 to early 2020, there was almost no news about West. People in the NBA worried about him, while his friends and family rarely heard from him. Many started to assume the worse. While West’s redemption hid right around the corner, he would need to hit rock bottom first.
The beginning of West’s rock bottom came in early 2020, when a video of an altercation between West and a driver on the road in Dallas. Following the clearly painful confrontation, the former basketball star disappeared again for a couple of months.
