When pregnant waitress Courtney Cadigan served a police officer at her diner, she had no idea he would leave her a note – and changer her life forever!

Many people think that having a baby completely prevents you from pursuing your dreams. However, thankfully, Cadigan did not see it that way. While she loves working as a waitress, to her, it’s only the means to an end. In fact, Cadigan wants to become a nurse one day, helping others to make it through the hardest moments of their lives.
But all of that would need to wait until after she gave birth. On the day that Cadigan’s life changed forever, she was seven months pregnant and working another day at the Lamp Post Diner, saving up for her maternity leave. That’s when someone the waitress had never seen before walked through the door…
