Kate McKinnon And Jackie Abbott – 4 Years Together

In 2017, actresses Jackie Abbot and Kate McKinnon made quite the splash when they decided to take their relationship public at that year’s Emmy Awards. Of course, fans know McKinnon from hits like Saturday Night Live and the recent Ghostbuster reboot. Meanwhile, Abbot has been an indie darling for some time, starring in comedies like Miss Sugar and My Tweet.
It also surprised many as McKinnon has never been an open person, nor talked about her sexuality. Since locking lips with Abbot on the red carpet, though, the actress has been much more open. Her biggest influence? Ellen DeGeneres! “[Ellen] risked her entire life and her entire career in order to tell the truth, and she suffered greatly for it,” McKinnon said to G.Q. later. “Of course, attitudes change, but only because brave people like Ellen jump into the fire to make them change.”
