You might remember Kate Hudson from films like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Almost Famous, as well as her fitness line, Fabletics. However, you probably didn’t know that she’s the daughter of famous actress Goldie Hawn. Hawn rose to fame in the ‘80s thanks to hit movies including Overboard and Cactus Flower, for which she won an Oscar for best actress.
“There’s a misconception that if you come from famous parents, you’re seeking fame for the sake of fame,” Hudson said in an interview. “I see it as the opposite: Growing up with parents who were in the spotlight — it was almost like, wow, if I didn’t love to create characters, I would run as far away from fame as I could get. But I love performing.”
