Elton John and David Furnish – 26 Years Together

Here’s a fun fact: in 2005, iconic singer Elton John and filmmaker David Furnish became one of Britain’s first LGBTQ couples to form a civil partnership. However, their love story started back in 1993. Despite all the tabloid gossip about their 15-years age gap, John proposed to Furnish at a dinner party surrounded by family and friends. Shortly after, the two married in 2014, following the U.K.’s legalization of gay marriage.
These days, Furnish and John share two sons, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John and Elijah Joseph Furnish-John. Both of their sons were born from the same surrogate mother. Sadly, John has retired from touring, but still occasionally performs a one-off show.
