There’s often no way of predicting what Netflix show will find a large audience. On paper, a show that’s based on an old Italian cartoon shouldn’t have such a worldwide appeal. However, Fate: The Winx Saga has already become one of the streaming giant’s biggest hits in 2021! A live adaptation of the cartoon Winx Club, the show tells the coming-of-age story of five fairies attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in a world that mirrors our own. And teen viewers love it!
Just a month after the first season of Fate: The Winx Saga debuted in January 2021, showrunners announced it would return for a second season! SO prepare for a lot more fairy magic! “The six episodes in season one only scratched the surface of this incredibly rich world and the powerful fairies who inhabit it,” show creator Brian Young said.
