Sometimes, Netflix makes a big announcement when it cancels a show. It releases a big press release thanking fans and wishing the cast and crew the best. Other times, however, the company quietly cancels a bunch of shows at once. In mid 2020, without so much as a tweet, the streaming platform cancelled both V-Wars and October Faction after one season each.
The cancellation of October Faction, a supernatural drama about monster hunters, certainly raised some eyebrows, as critics praised the performance of the show’s lead, Tamara Taylor. Oh, well! There are plenty of horror shows streaming these days!
