At this point, it’s hard to count how many former WWE stars have enjoyed a successful film and television show career. From The Rock and Roddy Piper to John Cena and Dave Bautista, many have shown it’s possible! Recently, the Big Show tried his hand at acting as well, starring as a fictionalized version of himself in the family sitcom The Big Show.
Sadly, fans did not respond the same way they did with other pro-wrestlers-turned-actors. Just a few months after the first season of The Big Show premiered, co-creator Jason Berger confirmed the show’s cancellation. “On behalf of the staff, cast, and crew of #thebigshowshow…thank you to everyone who watched either with your fam or alone in your basement. Netflix was a dream to work with AND we had a blast making the show,” he wrote on Twitter.
