After the success of Stranger Things, everyone wanted a little more ’80s in their lives. So, it’s no wonder Cobra Kai, the sequel series to the Karate Kid movies, has done so well. The series takes place 30 years after the original ’80s hit, following the continuing conflict of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio).
Right as the third season of Cobra Kai debuted in January 2021, Netflix announced a fourth season, coming sometime in late 2021. The whole crew, including Macchio, Zabka, and showrunners Josh Heald and Jon Hurwitz, are all expected to return.
