Although it was never a big hit, the NBC and Netflix drama Good Girls, starring actresses Christina Hendricks, Mae Whitman, and Retta as friends who start a criminal enterprise, developed a small cult following over its four seasons. Its fans loved the blend of dark, Breaking Bad-like crime drama and feel-good humor. However, in 2021, the time came for Netflix to cancel Good Girls.
“Well, we gave it our all. We really did. Thank you to our amazing fans through the years for all your passion and support.” Whitman wrote on Instagram after the cancellation. “Love you ladies more than anything on gods green.”
