Which British Shows Netflix Has Cancelled (And Which They’ve Brought Back)

It seems that Netflix and Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan, who’s made her name on British panel shows, cannot seem to get things right. First, Netflix, Ryan, and Jimmy Carr tried to bring panel shows to America with The Fix, which was cancelled before the first season finished airing. Next, the streaming company gave Ryan her own show in 2020, The Duchess, a sitcom presenting a fictionalized version of her life in Britain.
Sadly, The Duchess also ended after a single season. “[Netflix] didn’t want to make any more, not enough people watched it. I think something like 10 million people watched it in 28 days and that wasn’t enough,” Ryan recently said.
