As we’ve covered, in India, many people are vegetarian or vegan for a variety of reasons, from health to religious. As such, Indian McDonald’s’ branches do not carry the classic McStaples from here in the States, instead replacing them with a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Of the most popular Indian options, by far, is the McSpicy Paneer.
For those that don’t know, paneer is a firm and mild Indian cheese that is popular around the world. In the McSpicy Paneer, the cheese is breaded and deep-fried, as well as topped with spicy tandoori sauce.
