Initially, Hartsoe wondered if there could have once been a vent in the bathroom that had since been painted over. However, a thorough search of the ceiling revealed no vents. And the young woman soon also determined there were no cracks in the floor.
So, Hartsoe started looking for clues long the walls of the bathroom – and that’s when she made a startling discovery! The air seemed to be coming from the mirror! All of a sudden, the young woman felt incredibly unsafe in her apartment. Especially if there was a space behind the bathroom mirror. Still, even then, Hartsoe did not know the enormous scope of her discovery.
