Alive And Shining: The World’s Oldest Golden Age Stars That Will Be Remembered Forever

Janis Paige – Born In 1922 – The Pajama Game

Janis Paige worked as a Hollywood Canteen vocalist during WWII. She was eventually spotted by a Warner Bros. representative and was fortunate to get into the acting industry in Hollywood. She wasn’t a big hit straight away, so she opted to try her luck on Broadway instead.

“The Pajama Game” and “Remains to Be Seen” were her breakout theatrical outings. Her success allowed her to make a comeback in Hollywood. She ultimately retired after starring in “Family Law” in 2001. Given her advanced age, being born in 1922, documentaries remain her forte, even appearing in 2021’s “Broadway: Beyond the Golden Age.”
