Alive And Shining: The World’s Oldest Golden Age Stars That Will Be Remembered Forever

Tippi Hedren – Born In 1930 – The Birds

Tippi Hedren was modeling in Minnesota long before becoming Alfred Hitchcock’s muse and mother to famed actress Melanie Griffith. At the age of 20, Hitchcock was already about commercial work and being cast in several of his most famous films, including the early ’60s “Marnie” and “The Birds.”

Thereafter, the legendary actress appeared in over 100 films and TV series, including the 1964 Charlie Chaplin film, “A Countess from Hong Kong.” After taking a break from acting, she became an animal rights activist. The award-winning actress doesn’t seem to be retiring soon since she starred in the 2017 hit film “The Ghost and the Whale.”
