Alive And Shining: The World’s Oldest Golden Age Stars That Will Be Remembered Forever

Mickey Kuhn – Born In 1932 – Gone With The Wind

Few performers have the distinction of appearing in not just one but two of the greatest films of all time. Mickey Kuhn is an ex-child star who not only played Beau Wilkes in “Gone With the Wind” but also co-starred with Marlon Brando in “A Streetcar Named Desire.”

However, while audiences adored the talented actor, he despised the profession of acting. So, he left the film industry for good and took a very ordinary job as an aircraft controller in Boston in 1956. Sadly, Kuhn has been the only acknowledged cast member of “Gone with the Wind” since the demise of Dame Olivia de Havilland in 2020.
