Mel Brooks – Born In 1926 – Blazing Saddles
It’s hard to believe that comedian and filmmaker Mel Brooks hasn’t quit working since he made his debut in the ’50s. The talented comedian began his career as an author on Sid Caesar’s variety show “Your Show of Shows,” but it was evident that he was destined for more. Brooks was soon given his own program on NBC, and he launched the successful spoof “Get Smart.”
He has directed blockbuster comedies like “Blazing Saddles” and the popular “Young Frankenstein.” The legendary filmmaker provided his voice for the 2022 animated film “Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank,” which is loosely based on the piece “Blazing Saddles.”
