Jerry Lee Lewis – Born In 1935 – Great Balls of Fire

Jerry Lee Lewis is an accomplished pianist and singer-songwriter famous for his rockabilly and rock & roll compositions. He gained prominence in the late ’50s with his smash “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On.” His career suffered after he married his 13-year-old cousin, Myra Gale Brown.

After moving into country music, he ultimately found fame again, but his union with Brown ended after 12 years. Lewis has experienced some health challenges in recent years, but that hasn’t prevented him from furthering his profession. With no immediate retirement plans, he appeared in the documentary “Jerry Lee Lewis: Trouble in Mind” and the TV short “Memphis Connection” in 2022.
