Alive And Shining: The World’s Oldest Golden Age Stars That Will Be Remembered Forever

Nicholas Hammond – Born In 1950 – The Sound of Music

Most people remember Nicholas Hammond as Friedrich von Trapp in the classic film “The Sound of Music.” Few people are aware that he was the first person to play Spider-Man. That’s correct! He portrayed everyone’s beloved insect-themed hero in “The Amazing Spider-Man,” which ran on CBS from 1977 until 1979.

Throughout the ’80s, Hammond’s star faded, but he did appear in modest roles on shows like “The Love Boat and Dallas.” The outstanding actor appears to be geared up for a rebound since he appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 smash hit, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and the TV series “Total Control.”
