Elisabeth Shue (Born In 1963) – The Karate Kid

Elisabeth Shue is an American actress whose journey started way back in her college days. She used to earn a little money by appearing in television commercials for the likes of “Burger King” and “DeBeers.” Soon after, she got a role in the 1984 film “Karate Kid,” making her famous.

This was followed by roles in “Call to Glory,” “Back to the Future Part III,” and “Leaving Las Vegas.” The latter landed her four Academy Award nominations. Shue is a wife to film director Davis Guggenheim and is a proud parent to three children. She continued securing acting spots and played Anne in the series “On the Verge” in 2021.
