When pregnant waitress Courtney Cadigan served a police officer at her diner, she had no idea he would leave her a note – and changer her life forever!

Usually, Courtney Cadigan is the kind of waitress who loves to talk with her customers, exchanging pleasantries and learning about their lives while taking their orders. But, in short order, it became pretty clear that the police officer was not in the mood for any small talk.
When Cadigan arrived at the table, the police officer had a stony face, without any trace of a smile. He quickly ordered a garden salad and a soda, sending Cadigan on her way. While placing his order in the system, the pregnant waitress could not help but wonder if she had done something wrong. After all, typically, the customers loved her!
