When pregnant waitress Courtney Cadigan served a police officer at her diner, she had no idea he would leave her a note – and changer her life forever!

Most of the time, people don’t like it when other people listen in on their conversation. However, there was nothing else that the mysterious police officer could do! You see, he sat so close to the other table that it was essentially impossible for him not to hear Cadigan talking about her upcoming maternity leave.
“He must have overheard my conversation with other customers,” Cadigan explained later. Of course, at the time, the pregnant waitress had no idea that the officer was listening to her conversation with the other customers or the life-changing decision it would soon lead to.
