Grace Jones-1948
The American with Jamaican roots Grace Jones started her career as a model and quickly became one of the most sought-after models of her generation. Grace was seen on numerous magazine covers, in print ads and last but not least on the catwalks. She eventually got into film via modelling, taking on roles in blockbuster films like Conan the Barbarian, Wolf Girl and James Bond: A View to a Kill.
But it didn’t stop with models and actresses. Grace Jones wanted more and today she focused primarily on her musical career, which is no less successful. Grace simply convinces in any area with her unmistakable look and style, which she still shows in her performances on stage today.
