What's both a nightmare and a dream at the same time? $400,000 worth of Jack Daniel's Whiskey all over a Tennessee highway! While, sadly, no one got to drink it up when the truck overturned, thankfully, no one was hurt in the accident.
$400K Worth Of Jack Daniel Down The Drain

This week something extraordinary happened along a lone Tennessee highway: $400K worth of world-famous Jack Daniel's Whiskey flowed along the highway as a result of a truck overturning. . "A semi loaded with $400K worth of Jack Daniel's Whiskey overturned after the load shifted as the driver was making a left turn onto the I-24 on-ramp from S. Church St around 9:30 a.m. Wed. Nov. 17," the Murfreesboro Police Department shared on its official Facebook page.
The department continued, explaining that the truck in question had departed a distribution center in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Eventually, the truck's liquor was meant to make its way to Israel. Unfortunately, another vehicle struck the truck, turning it over on the interstate. Even worse, the product started to go down the drain...literally! While, thankfully, the truck driver was not hurt, more than $400,000 worth of the delicious alcohol ended up on the streets.
While this story starts off badly, it does have a happy ending...
Volunteering To Clean Tennessee Highway

As you might imagine, plenty of people online wanted to be a part of the Jack Daniel's cleanup crew. "HOT DIGGITY! I'm volunteering on THIS cleanup! ON MY WAY GUYS!" wrote one of the excited locals, ready to bring his glass to the spillage. "Should have allowed folks to bring their own shot glasses!" another one joined the alcohol parade. "If ya see me lickin the street.. Mind yo bizness!" another eager commenter wrote. While all the volunteerism was nice, the police had the entire mess cleaned up in under two hours.
Meanwhile, others had better ideas, like creating cocktails based on the taste of the pavement and Jack Daniel's Whiskey: "Jack on the Asphalt," they named it. Still, some were not too happy about the world losing that much Jack Daniel whiskey. Others felt worried about what would happen to the driver. "The driver may have walked away from the accident but that do not mean he was not injured," they said. "Someone is responsible for that load shifting and the truck flipping over. If I was the driver I would be attaining a lawyer."
